Who we are

Information we collect
When you use our contact, bespoke or partner enquiry forms we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, telephone number (where given), delivery postcode, enquiry or project details and any photographs or drawings you choose to upload. If you apply for a trade account we collect your company name, contact name, business type, telephone number, email address and a password for signing in. Your basket selections are kept in your own browser rather than sent to us. Please don't send us sensitive personal information that isn't needed for your enquiry.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations, review and manage trade accounts, and give approved trade customers access to trade pricing. We don't sell your information, and making an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing.
Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (for enquiries and quotations), performance of a contract (for trade accounts and orders), and our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business and website. Where we ever rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who can see it
Your information is stored privately and can only be viewed by authorised administrators at Wood & Water. We use trusted technical providers to host the website, store enquiries and manage sign-ins; they process information only on our behalf. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards required by UK law apply.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and account details only for as long as we need them to deal with your request, manage your account and meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Keeping it secure
Enquiries, uploaded files and trade account information are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible, and trade pricing is only shown to approved, signed-in trade customers.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email contact@woodandwatergardenstructures.co.uk; we may need to confirm your identity first. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
